Ed O’Hare joined Koniag Development Corporation, LLC (KDC) in 2011 as the company’s Senior Vice President, Technology Business Sector. He became CEO of Koniag Government Services (KGS) in 2015 where he manages a portfolio of companies including Eagle Harbor Solutions, LLC, Koniag Information Security Services, LLC, Koniag Services, Inc., Koniag Technology Solutions, Inc., PacArctic, LLC, Professional Computing Resources, Arluk Technology Solutions, LLC and Kadiak, LLC. He has extensive experience in the IT and telecommunications sectors, including leading strategic planning and supply operations for government organizations.
After service in the U.S. Army, Mr. O’Hare began a long career in both the public and private sectors. His positions included Assistant Commissioner for the Integrated Technology Services at the General Services Administration (GSA) where Mr. O’Hare managed GSA IT and telecommunications contracts, which totaled more than $22 billion a year. In the private sector, Mr. O’Hare worked with government consulting contractors. Prior to coming to the Koniag family of companies, Mr. O’Hare served as vice president of business development for Dynanet Corporation.
Mr. O’Hare possesses more than 35 years of IT and government contracting experience. He also led the development of many groundbreaking systems, including the GSAAdvantage and GSAAuctions electronic commerce systems. He was proud to lead IT operations for the 2008 U.S. presidential transition.
As President of Eagle Harbor Solutions (EHS) Mr. Morgan is responsible for running all facets of the business. He has a proven executive management track record and over 24 years of experience in the technology industry. Prior to EHS, Mr. Morgan serviced as the Vice President of Strategic Development for sister company Koniag Information Security Services where he was responsible for a range of strategic and operational activities; defining and driving operational, organizational, and strategic improvements across the company. Mr. Morgan is an experienced executive with strong leadership skills and expertise managing high-performance programs in the Federal Government’s National Security sector.
In addition to serving as President of Eagle Harbor Solutions, Mr. Morgan also serves as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for Koniag Inc, as well as for the Koniag Government Services sector. As a Certified Information Systems Security Officer, Mr. Morgan designs and executes the cybersecurity strategy to ensure the Company’s information assets are adequately protected and that IT Cybersecurity and Governance strategies are consistent with business objectives of the corporation and our customers. This scope includes identifying, developing, implementing and maintaining processes across the corporation to reduce information security risks, responding to incidents, establishing appropriate security and operational standards and controls, and establishing and implementing IT policies and procedures.
Throughout Mr. Morgan’s career he has held a number of positions of increasing responsibility in program management, operations, telecommunications and engineering in support of both industry and government. His experience spans work establishing, implementing and directing engineering and development programs in support of C4ISR capabilities across the Federal Government, Intelligence and Special Operations Communities. Mr. Morgan has successfully managed programs of various complexity in direct support of critical communications capabilities for senior national leaders and special programs offices and was responsible for the global deployment of next generation, mission critical field applications in direct support of intelligence officers and agents through extensive worldwide travel.
Mr. Morgan possesses a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from ASU, a Project Management Professional certificate from James Madison University and several certificates in Leadership and Management from the George Washington University. He is also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and Agile SCRUM Alliance.
